Are you involved in a community organisation?
Do you have an idea that will help children, young people and families improve their health and well-being?
Would a small grant help you make it happen?
There are two new Thriving Kirklees Seed Funds, providing grants to voluntary and community organisations to help them improve the health of young people and families in Kirklees.
– TK Health Action Fund (managed by TSLKirklees) provides grants up to £4,000 for projects improving disadvantaged young people or families health. See www.tslkirklees.org.uk for details or contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07540434573.
– TK Social Action Fund (managed by One Community Foundation) provides grants for projects where young people take the lead in identifying a local health issue and taking action. This fund is in partnership with the #iwill foundation. See www.one-community.org.uk for details.
These two funds will be distributing a total of £66,000 (including match funds from #iwill) in small grants. The application processes are simple and supportive to make grants accessible to small organisations.
Thriving Kirklees aims to work in partnership with all organisations receiving grants from the seed funds. Projects must be completed within 12 months of the grant being awarded.
