Volunteering - administration and business support

When we’re working with children, young people and families it’s important that our colleagues have the highest quality support.

We have a number of administration roles as well as minute takers opportunities. There are also roles known as “light touch” ones which cover a variety of different jobs with a range of teams across our services.

We’ve gathered together those roles here.

After a brief description of the role you’ll see a link to the website of the organisation that offers those opportunities so you can find out more and apply for available roles

Minute takers

Volunteer minute takers attend board meetings and sub-committee meetings to note discussions and decisions made and write up the minutes for circulation. The meetings are planned in advance on a regular cycle and the volunteer minute taker would have preference over which meetings are convenient to attend. There is no expectation that one volunteer would cover all the planned meetings.  Some minute taking experience would be preferable.
